Government Conference Brings Opportunity
Nearly a thousand public officials, business leaders and association representatives from 350 cities, counties and townships throughout the country descended upon Bellevue for the 2007 Transforming Local Government (TLG) Conference, which was held June 6–8 at Meydenbauer Center. The conference brought together key decision-makers to generate fresh ideas through networking and learning. Participants explored the best tools available to guide internal government groups through positive changes.
Around thirty employee volunteers helped conference attendees navigate through the conference and town and Symetra also provided financial support to Leadership Eastside, a nonprofit sponsor of the event and long-time community partner.
"Symetra works closely with our local government and other area businesses to build a strong community in Bellevue and across the Puget Sound region," said Jennifer Davies, senior vice president of Enterprise Development. "We are proud to participate in the TLG conference and share our story."
